I've done zero research, but my guess is that is the total wifi bandwidth available across all devices, not a single device. My switch has 100gb backplane, but ports max at 10gb.

Jokes aside, this solved my wifi issues over the nethear nighthawk I owned. I got the costco version some weeks ago when it was $230. 6g is excellent...I only have 2 laptops and both connect fine...

I have this router, got it from Costco during their deal on it close to two years ago.With the signal cranked to maximum I still get WiFi all the way out at my mailbox, which is over 300 feet away...

I ultimately went with TP-Link omada, which is a prosumer alternative to Ubiquiti, but cheaper (and more reliable for me). No issues with device dropouts even with only 2 omada wifi access points...

2x 2.4Ghz, 4x 5Ghz, 2x 6Ghz… not mentioned in OP but for those wonder about MU-MIMO
This ain't no Asus grasshopper. It is tplink.
The shid was on sale for bout 250 momentarily but back up to 3 Benjamin's. I don't trust TP-Link I'm a way but for wifi7 was considering it.
